Pleased to have found a seemingly official website that represents the  dolls & photography of Katan Amano and Ryo Yoshida.   DOLL SPACE PYGMALION is added to the perma links at left/bottom.

Interestingly enough there’s a strange little youtube video of the Katan Doll photographs filmed and moving.

It does not do justice to the deep itch felt in the gut when first viewing her work in the books.  There’s much ball joint doll photo work floating about that seems to miss the immersive and somewhat distressing nature of the Amano and Yoshida work, which seem the originals in the genre and most adept and pulling it all together to both attract and repel.

The split album release between Laudunum & Stormcrow is pending, looks like release will be February but here’s a preview of the cover.

I’ve seen the work in person, so I must comment on the fact that this is a three dimensional piece, and it’s truly stunning. The wing like side pieces are cow jaw bone, screwed and metal wired… just for a start.  Judd Hawk’s work hails from a depth where most who proudly claim “dark” as a descriptor for their artwork would find themselves drowning if not simply rudderless and adrift.

This will no longer focus on the world of politics solely.  That obsession is mostly over.

But this is too good.  We don’t often spend time on youtube poking around, but rather jumping in based on direct google hits.  Really, we’ve seen enough home video from iCams to last a life time, in addition to the screen captures of people playing World of Warcraft, it is little wonder why the tubes are clogged.

However, while watching the Minnesotans debate whether “Lizard People” and “Flying Spaghetti Monster” are actual people or not based upon write in votes (to determine if the votes count for that still undecided Minnesota senate seat), a little blurb caught our eye.

“PROOF THAT OBAMA IS A FREEMASON” .  We were aware of masonic conspiracy and illuminati fear but had not realized that now, Freemasonry was connected to Teh AntiChrizst.  911 Truthers have a Masonic Conspiracy vid as well.

In fact, one night of utter madness while researching a variety of conspiracy related topics on youtube was plenty to convince us to hole up in our bunkers and stay away… not because THEY are out there MAN but rather because the sheer number of people who seem to believe that the CIA has launched a disinformation campaign regarding satanic ritual abuse, involving Bob Hope (?!),  is enough to make us fear our neighbors more than we already do.
